BLADDER CANCER REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!
Great fun was had by all who attended the festivities to help Mike fight his biggest fight.
In his wonderful wife Barbara's own words borrowed from her facebook update:
Mike and I would like to Thank everyone for their love and support last night! It was an AMAZING night and the house was packed! Friends and family came from all over the State to support us!
Dodo showed up at the house to give Mike a ride in style with Grace! Mike LOVES old cars and motorcycles, so this was very special to him!
Larry R. Moore, the DJ and Sara R. Moore, the photographer, did an amazing job at keeping things flowing nicely! I can't wait to see photo's, as I completely forgot to take my camera out of my purse!
Linna Priscilla Lachance Michaud, you did an amazing job at working the Silent Auction, 50/50 and the raffles! Also, thanks so much for supporting us during the TV interview! You are an amazing friend!
Mike got out of his chair and danced with me to our song! That moment brought me to tears!
I was very excited to see my two cousins that I haven't seen in SO long. Sandy St Pierre Bichrest and Rose St Pierre Woodd! It was SO nice to just be able to talk for awhile and remember the good 'ole days! :) Thank you guys for coming! You were the only members of my family that came as everyone else is Out of State! That truly touched me like you'll never know!
Ridin' Steel showed at the event and wanted to tape Mike and I for an upcoming show on TV! What a surprise that was! Can you say "nervous"? I have never been on TV before! When we find out when that is going to air, we will let you know!
The 50/50 was won by Mike Winship and he tucked his winnings into my bra! LOL THANK YOU, Mike! You are an awesome friend and have been for many years! BTW: My bra was full of money all night! I didn't have pockets!
The Auction item for FatBoy's dinner for two in Grace was bought by Mike and Mary Imrie and they also donated that back to us! Thank You SO much you two! Now Mike and I will be going to Fat Boy's in Grace with Dodo and Dawn Bassett!
There are still alot of items to sell on here as nothing sold out completely! So to all you friends and family out of state, just send me a message and I will ship things out!
